Goats

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you have anything for goats?

A: Any animal that is raised for meat consumption, milk production, or competition in the show ring can benefit from showbloom!. showbloom! increases feed intake, weight gain, hair growth, and natural muscling and growth. showbloom! can be fed to cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and horses. We also offer a specialized showbloom! for rabbits.

Q: I was reading on your website that I should feed sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) to my goats. How should I do this?

A: Sodium bicarbonate acts as a buffer in goats the same way it does for humans. In fact, some animals require it as a digestive aid. The disadvantage is that it is unpalatable and some animals will not consume it. I suggest you add sodium bicarbonate to your feed ration or incorporate it into your free choice mineral mix at the level recommended by your feed dealer.
